American music is uniquely mixed in its roots, but other cultures have also adopted American styles in their music. This program features a mixing pot of classical and popular musical cultures of American, Jewish, Brazilian and Japanese music inspired by impressionism and jazz, including titles such as Samba, Bossa Nova, Porch Picking, Dance in Congo Square, Boogie Woogie, and Overdrive.
